About

Hi there! I am a cardiovascular outcomes researcher and medical educator. I love helping others learn and am thrilled that you are using my teaching materials. I try my best to update them throughout the year, and am always open to feedback.

Prior to my life in medicine, I was a programmer and designer. My favorite language was PHP. Now it’s R. I studied molecular biology and applications of computing at Princeton (A.B.), epidemiology and biostatistics at Johns Hopkins (M.P.H.), and medicine at Vanderbilt (M.D.), after which I completed my internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt and cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Yale. I am passionate about developing ideas and tools in #ComputationalCardiology and invite anyone with an interest to join me.
